What would you want?

NASA is busy designing new rockets to take humans further into space. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-14915725 So, this got me thinking - what would the future astronauts (presently EWS girls) want on a rocket? What could you not live without? Or maybe what would need to be invented to keep you happy in space?

  1. Obviously I can't win a prize and my rather soppy answer of wanting my daughter there isn't necessarily that imaginative anyway but this did get me thinking - I'd also want a book... what happens to books in space? Are there any adverse effects on paper up there in all that weird pressure?

  3. Even though it's only 50 miles up, the thought of going to space with out my cat is just to heartbraking! And space would not be half as cool..... But come to think about it, i'm sure she wouldn't want to be flowting around, in a roket with no knowleag of gravity. :/

  4. hi...my name is yasmine and i am in 7 cra
if you go to space i think u would need some entertainment , however since they is no wi-fi or internet connection you can take a book , or sudouku , crossword or scramble . Maybe i will bring a board game to play with my colleagues. Definetly photos of people you care and love from. A camera .No one can live without delicious food and since it is going to be a rather long journey we wouldnt want to food to rot so i would bring dry fruit and maybe some sweets

  8. Nice ideas "AliensExist". Now the question has to be - do Aliens Exist? How do you know? Where are they? What do they look like? How do they live?

  10. So what could I not do without in a rocket? Mmmmmmm at £15000 per kg, this is a tricky one. I will have to sleep on it. Good night all....
